A Founding Trustee Who Helped Shape Elevate+
As David Naidu concludes his service on the Elevate+ Board of Trustees, we offer our heartfelt thanks for his guidance, generosity, and belief in our mission.
David joined the board in early 2021, just weeks after Elevate+ was formally established on December 30, 2020. As a founding trustee, he helped turn a new idea into an organization connecting students from low-income backgrounds with paid internships, mentoring, and professional development.
A former President of the Summit, NJ Common Council and a partner at K&L Gates, David brought deep community knowledge and trusted relationships to our work. His introductions opened doors to nonprofit partners, community leaders, funders, and future trustees, helping build the network that supports Elevate+ today.
“David’s involvement in getting Elevate+ off the ground was critical,” said Andrew Walker, Founder and Executive Director. “He opened doors, offered sound guidance, and was a steadfast voice of reason in our board discussions. I am profoundly grateful for his contributions and will miss having him at the table.”
“It has been a privilege to help Elevate+ grow from an idea into an organization creating meaningful opportunities for students,” said David. “I’m proud of what we have built together and look forward to seeing the organization’s continued impact.”
David leaves the board with our deep appreciation and a lasting place in the Elevate+ story. Thank you, David, for helping lay the foundation for all that has followed.
