Danielle West-Augustin is a seasoned education leader with over 20 years of experience and currently serves as Chief Academic Officer and Director at Queen City Academy Charter School. Under her leadership, the school achieved Tier I status from the NJDOE, expanded from K–8 to K–12, and significantly increased scholarship awards and secondary school placements.


A champion for student success and teacher development, Danielle has led initiatives such as the PARCC Academy and the Children’s Literacy Initiative, while also securing critical funding to support school growth and scholar enrichment. She serves as Board Chair of the New Jersey Public Charter Schools Association and holds degrees from Lincoln University and Saint Peter’s College. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa.
